On the heels of our highly energetic and successful Horizons23 Global Summit in Orlando, DZS was excited to be a first-year participant and Bronze Sponsor at the 22nd Annual Metro Connect USA in beautiful Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida. Metro Connect USA is the premier event for networking with C-level executives and other key decision-makers from the fiber, data center, cloud, tower and cable industry.
The conference is the traditional kick-off to the year for leaders in the digital infrastructure space and this year’s event featured more than 1,800 attendees, representing more than 500 companies and included 80-plus speakers.
The DZS team spent a few great days connecting with colleagues and thought leaders who are shaping the future of digital infrastructure in the United States. The conference featured speakers and exhibitors who are forecasting for the years ahead, with solution-focused discussions on market disruptions and opportunities.
There was a great deal of interest from attendees in the innovative solutions DZS is bringing to market. Two of the more popular products were our new Velocity V6 fiber access system and the recently launched Saber-4400 coherent optical transport solution.
When talking to Keith Naumann, Product Line Management Vice President of Access Solutions, at the booth attendees were astonished by the V6’s ability to enable service providers to deliver industry-leading performance in high density locations. The other star of the show was our environmentally hardened Saber-4400 coherent optical transport solution. The Saber-4400 redefines the economics of coherent optical metro and edge transport with its convenient, cost-effective high-speed delivery of fiber-based services. It is ideally suited to help service providers improve their bandwidth transport capabilities, especially in remote and rural areas.
In addition to these game-changing solutions, we also highlighted other key products from our extensive Access EDGE, Optical EDGE, Subscriber EDGE and Cloud EDGE portfolio. We were also able to share how we provide first-mile access for residential, business and mobile backhaul applications and unique hardened solutions for 5G and O-RAN mobile transport.
MetroConnect 2023 exceeded our expectations, and we will be back in 2024.
We hope that you if that you are attending the upcoming NTCA-RTIME event (in San Diego, February 19 – 22), the 2023 TechAdvantage Expo (in Nashville, March 6 – 8) or OFC (in San Diego, March 7 – 9) over the next few weeks, you will stop by our booth to see how DZS is transforming today’s “Service Providers” into tomorrow’s “Experience Providers”!
